Our Doctors Dr. Wilson W. McManus, II, DVM Dr. McManus shares his home, with his wife - Laura Leigh, their two daughters and son, and two cats–Tom Kitten and Oatmeal, and Yorkie–Olivia. He shares his office with his cats - Persimmon and Bumpers. Hobbies include fishing, gardening, and the outdoors. Dr. Rebecca (Becca) Lofty, DVM Dr. Kathryn (Kathy) Bradshaw DVM
Dr. Bradshaw was recently elected as the vice-president for the Madison County Veterinary Medical Association and is excited to serve in the interest of Huntsville’s citizens and their pets. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors with her friends and family. She shares her home with her husband, Bo, her two dachshunds – Duncan and Sbisa, Cadet, her young Labrador retriever, and her three cats – Grace, Charity & Hope. Dr. Brock Halverson DVM Dr. Brock Halverson graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. While attending Auburn, he participated in research regarding antibiotic resistance. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Halverson attended Troy State University and received a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. Dr. Halverson spent several years working at a small animal clinic in rural East Tennessee. While in Tennessee, he served as the vice president and president of the Five Rivers Regional Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Halverson is glad to be at Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort and is very excited to have moved to Huntsville, and to be closer to family. He has fallen in love with the Huntsville area and the people and pets of Valley Animal Hospital. Dr. Halverson has a special interest in Ultrasound and using this diagnostic tool to better diagnose and treat patients. Dr. Halverson currently shares his home with his his wife JJ and his Australian Shepard - Harmony. His hobbies include: cooking, fishing, hunting and the outdoors. Dr. Wendi Tumminello DVM
After graduation, Dr. Wendi moved to the New Orleans area and pursued an internship in small animal internal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine at the Louisiana Veterinary Referral and Emergency Clinic. Following the internship, Dr. Wendi stayed on at LaVRC and worked as an Emergency Veterinarian and manager of the Emergency Clinic for 8 years. She loved the fast-paced environment and helping patients overcome life threatening injuries and diseases. After having two wonderful little boys, Dr. Tumminello finally came back home to Huntsville to raise her family and work part-time at Valley Animal Hospital. Her interests include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Ultrasonography. She shares her home with her husband, Marc; her two boys—Luke and Titus; her beagle/basset mix, Abigail; and her two cats—Now ‘N’ Later, and Charlie.
