| Dr. Kathryn (Kathy) Bradshaw Dr. Bradshaw received her DVM degree in 2006 from Kansas State University. Previous to that she attended Texas A&M University where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biomedical Science. Her main veterinary interest is internal medicine, specifically endocrinology. Her new experience in the field benefits Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort from her motivation to using technological advancements to her excitement in serving Huntsville’s citizens and their pets. Beyond veterinary medicine, Dr. Bradshaw’s interests include active involvement in the organization Huntsville Young Professionals, fishing, reading and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Bradshaw’s family includes her husband - Bo, her two dachshunds – Duncan and Sbisa, and her three cats – Grace, Charity & Hope. |
| Dr. Rebecca (Becca) Lofty, D.V.M. Dr. Lofty graduated from Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine after completing her preceptorship here at Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort. At Auburn, Dr. Lofty focused on small animal care with special attention to dermatology and the newest diagnostic techniques. She also had the opportunity to work closely with the Lee County Humane Society diagnosing and treating a wide variety of animals. Prior to attending Auburn, Dr. Lofty graduated from Montevallo University, Magna Cum Laude, with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. A member of the 1995 Grissom High School graduating class, Dr. Lofty is pleased to return to the Tennessee Valley, and delighted to have the opportunity to serve her own community. Dr. Lofty shares her home with her husband - Kris, son - Joshua, dog -Muppet, and two cats - Nimbus and Wookie. Also enjoying their own terrarium are two red-eared slider turtles- Gibby and Harper." |

| Dr. Wilson W. McManus, II, D.V.M. Dr. McManus received a bachelor of science in Animal Sciences in 1982 and doctorate of veterinary medicine in 1988 from Auburn University. Prior to opening Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, Dr. McManus was a full-time emergency veterinarian at the Animal Emergency Center, and subsequently became a partner at Adams, Parmer, Glass and McManus Veterinary Clinics in Columbus, Georgia. In the year prior to opening Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort, he worked with his father, also a Veterinarian of forty years at Apollo Animal Hospital here in Huntsville, Alabama. Dr. McManus founded Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort in the heart of Jones Valley in May 1992. A 5,500 square foot full service small animal hospital. In 2004, Valley Animal Hospital expanded to include a 2,200 square foot pet resort. Valley Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is an accredited member of the American Animal Hospital Association (since 1994). Dr. McManus is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, was a founding board member of the Animal Emergency Clinic of North Alabama, is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club, and has participated over a ten year period as a veterinary missionary to Honduras with Saint Thomas Episcopal Church Medical Mission. Dr. McManus shares his home, with his wife - Laura Leigh, their two daughters and son, and their two cats–Carson and Edward, and Yorkie–Olivia. He shares his office with his cats - Persimmon and Bumpers. His hobbies include fishing, gardening, and the outdoors. |
| Dr. Lisa Prendergast, D.V.M. Dr. Prendergast is a native of Huntsville. She is a 2002 graduate of Auburn University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to attending veterinary school, she worked at NASA for 10 years as a budget analyst. She has an undergraduate degree in international business and French and a Master's degree in management. Dr. Prendergast's, family consists of her husband, Maurice, their black lab--Max, and their German short-hair pointer--Sophie. She enjoys cycling, hiking, gardening, reading and traveling. |
