Wellness Care

Valley Animal Hospital & Pet Resort emphasizes preventative care as a means of keeping your pet healthy.  We recommend your pet undergo bi-annual wellness exams to identify diseases and health care problems in your pet.  Early detection results in faster treatment and better overall health for your pet.

Routine exams help our staff and veterinarians develop a complete picture of your pet’s health.  Along with a physical exam and routine laboratory tests, we will also ask you about your pet’s behavior at home, their diet and medications/ supplements, and about their lifestyle among other questions.  This helps us identify and make recommendations on potential health care issues that could impact your pet’s health.  Regular appointments also are an excellent time for you to ask any questions you may have about your pet’s health care.

Puppy & Kitten

Congratulations on your new family member and companion.  We offer special discounted rates for your new puppy or kitten vaccine booster visits.  The first visit is often an extended appointment allowing us time to educate you with important information about caring for your new companion.  It also allows you the time to ask questions you may have about your puppy or kitten.  Please bring any medical information that came with your new puppy or kitten, such as vaccine records.
