Dr. Angela Concannon
Dr. Concannon graduated from Mississippi State University with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2001. She studied Animal and Dairy Science in undergraduate and after only three years was accepted into veterinary school. While at MSU she was an Agriculture Ambassador for the School or Agriculture and once in veterinary school was chosen as an Envoy for school.
Upon graduating Dr. Concannon joined a clinic in Huntsville as an associate and worked there for twelve years. She has been very active in the veterinary community since moving here. Dr. Concannon has served as the Vice-President and President of the Madison County Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Concannon is an active member in Flint River Baptist Church in Hazel Green. She is a member of the Madison County Veterinary Medical Association, the Alabama Veterinary Medical Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, AAHA, and the Hunt’s Spring chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She and her husband live on a mini farm in Madison County with their two daughters. She raises silkie chickens and enjoys spending time with her family who also live in the area. Dr. Concannon loves cooking, entertaining, gardening, reading, and watching movies.
Both she and her husband, Craig, visit Mississippi State University and their oldest daughter, who is in college there, as often as they can. Their youngest is in high school and heavily involved in band. They all share their home with five cats - George, Flint, Buzz, Mama , and Walter along with a Golden Retriever named Penny.
