Dr. Ashley Calvin graduated from Colorado State University in 1997 with a BS of Animal Science, and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University's School of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.  She then returned to Colorado where she was an associate and owner of a small animal and exotic animal practice.  Dr. Calvin relocated to the Huntsville area in 2012 when her husband took a job with NASA.

Dr. Calvin enjoys internal medicine, dental care, and managing chronic diseases such as liver disease, kidney disease and helping to control chronic pain.  She enjoys treating exotic patients and teaching their owners how best to care for these special pets.  She'll treat just about anything and loves learning about each species

Outside of work, Dr. Calvin and her supportive husband, Tim, are kept busy traveling and running their 3 children to various activities. She has boy/girl twins, Rory and Owen, and a younger son, Holland.  Dr. Calvin also has five pets - 3 cats named Waffles, Kringle, and Mango, as well as two elderly black lab-mixes named Bacon and Letty (short for Omelette; to go with the breakfast theme!).
